Baked Peaches with Bourbon!

This delicious dessert is easy to make and takes only 5 minutes to prepare. Add a little Bourbon if you like to fancy up your dish. Bon Appetit!


3 – 4 fresh ripe peaches halved and pitted

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil or melted butter

2 tablespoons pure maple syrup or honey

1 tablespoon brandy bourbon (optional)

1 tablespoon light brown sugar

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

ΒΌ teaspoon kosher salt

Cut peaches in half and remove the pits

In a medium bowl whisk together olive oil or melted butter, maple syrup, bourbon (optional) brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt.

Place the peaches on a baking dish cut-side up and pour the syrup mixture filling the center and letting it run over the sides.

Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes or until the peaches are tender and soft.

Serve immediately with your favorite ice cream or frozen yogurt and enjoy!
