These no bake Greek yogurt bars are the perfect cure for a hot summer day! Great recipe to try with your family and loved ones. Add strawberries for an extra flavor and fun toppings (pecans, coconut or chocolate chips). Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 cups Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 spoons of maple syrup
1 cup of fresh strawberries
¼ cup of chocolate chips (optional)
¼ unsweetened coconut (optional)
¼ toasted pecans (optional)
You will need a dish preferably a cooking pan 8 inches x 12 inches. Put parchment or wax paper on the bottom (so its easy to remove the bars later).
Place the yogurt in a bowl, add vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
Mix well for a few minutes
Transfer to the a baking pan
Smooth out the top nicely
Place the cut strawberries tightly on top
Sprinkle with chocolate chips or other toppings such as coconut or pecans
Freeze the bars until they are frozen solid (about 3 hours) and then you can lift them out of the pan and cut them into small pieces.
Serve them immediately and enjoy!
