These yummy balsamic roasted brussels sprouts will be a perfect addition to your Thanksgiving table!
1 1/2 pound brussels sprouts
4 ounces bacon
1/4 cup of olive oil
kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper
Trim the brussels sprouts and cut them in half through the core.
Slice the bacon into 1/4 inch pieces.
Place the brussels sprouts on a sheet pan, including some of the loose leaves.
Add the bacon, olive oil, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper, toss with your hands, and spread out in a single layer.
Roast the brussels sprouts for 20 to 30 minutes at 400 degrees, until they’re tender and nicely browned and the bacon is cooked.
Toss once during roasting. Remove from the oven, drizzle immediately with balsamic vinegar, and toss again. Taste for seasonings, and serve hot.
