Instead of a big bird this Thanksgiving how about you make this yummy lemon garlic roasted chicken instead. Its easy to make and delicious!
3 1/2 – 4 pound fresh (preferably organic) chicken
3 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup of olive oil
1 1/2 – 2 teaspoons of paprika
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
Minced the garlic into tiny pieces.
Mix olive oil with the garlic, paprika, salt and pepper.
Cut the lemons in quarters.
Rub the chicken thoroughly with the seasoning mixture, any leftovers use for the lemon.
Place the chicken with the lemon on a baking sheet.
Bake initially at 325 degrees for an hour.
Increase the temperature to 375 degrees, put a teaspoon of melted butter on top and continue roasting the chicken for an additional 1/2 hour until it is cooked and crispy.
Serve with your favorite Thanksgiving side dishes.
